Our dogs are all exceptional examples of the FCI/AKC Standard for the Icelandic Sheepdogs. Snotra is quiet and laid back, but at the same time extremely alert, no killer squirrels will ever make it in to our yard. Spurðann is the happy go-lucky one; who is rambunctious, fun loving and definitely the alpha male.Spurdann came from a working farm and is a little aloof, he will come up on the couch and say hi, then a moment later he will move off and lay down next to the stairs where he can rest but still provide protection, Spurðanns personality is well suited for herding and working. He is athletic alert and loyal. His strongest characteristic is his intelligence, typical for the breed. Nella, like her father very happy, always ready to play, and very joyful wonderful little girl. Very smart and eager to please us, loving and gets along with everyone, she likes nothing better than to grab a toy and tease the other dogs with it until they try to take the toy, then the chase is on. Snotra is the type of dog that you would want to babysit your children as she is loving and attentive, always wanting to please.
